Am I Eligible to Join Butte Federal Credit Union?

You are eligible to join Butte Federal Credit Union if you live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in one of the seven Northern California counties that we serve. These counties include: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Plumas, Sutter, Tehama, and Yuba. Also, being a Grange member in one of the many Northern California counties that we serve outside of the ones listed above is another way you are eligible to join. Finally, if you have a family member who is already a member of our Credit Union, you are eligible for membership.

Yes I Am Eligible! How Do I Join?

Once eligible, your second step is to open a membership savings account with the Credit Union. An initial deposit of $25.00 is all that is required to start the account. This $25.00 balance must remain on deposit during your membership with our Credit Union. (For our 18 and under members, we ask them to start their accounts at $5.00).

Then What?

That’s it – once you have completed those two steps you are now a member of Butte Federal Credit Union and are immediately eligible to take advantage of our of Credit Union services, from loans to checking accounts to everything we offer.
